Ghyllside School Ghyllside Primary School in Kendal accommodates 475 pupils. After a renewable energy audit was carried out at the school it was suggested that a biomass boiler would be of benefit financially as well as improving the school’s carbon footprint. The biomass boiler provides heat to the classrooms and hot water to the kitchen.
