We researched thoroughly before deciding to award the contract to Barden Bio Mass 7 years ago to install a new heating system into the large Arts and Craft House we were restoring. We planned to re-open her as a 17-bedroomed luxury 5 star B&B with two 2 bedroomed owner houses.
Biomass heating for commercial premises in The Lake District was at that point in its infancy. We took the decision that with a large old house that had no double glazing we needed to ensure our guests were warm and cosy and we wanted to be “Green” As we have no mains gas here and really didn’t want to use oil, biomass seemed the only source that could ensure we would be warm enough. Will was so compassionate about what he does and guided us through all the red tape. We took the leap of faith before it had been confirmed that the government where going to go with the RHI payments and installed our biomass boiler.
As the house is a historical land mark Will even designed our chimney flue and installed it personally so that it followed the contours of the building and wasn’t an eye saw. His attention to detail is only matched by my own and his customer service is second to none. We have never regretted installing our Biomass boiler and would not hesitate to do so again.
So the best way to explain how highly we regard Barden Bio Mass is that if we ever want or have the need to put a biomass heating system in again they are the only people we would go to and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
